MEATH Build are always delighted when we hear news of the next generation getting involved in construction.
Our latest project, Suthers School in Newark, Nottingham, has showcased in the local news.
Main contractor, Bowmer & Kirkland invited pupils from the school to decorate and personalise a brick to celebrate the building of their new school. The school is due to open in September next year, and the bricks will be incorporated into the building. A great legacy for pupils and the school.
Alan Fowler, our site manager was on hand to offer assistance when the pupils visited the site. Pupils were encouraged to write affirmations on each brick and were then given the opportunity to lay the bricks.
What a great idea, not only for the pupils but for helping to showcase construction as a career. Just what we love at MEATH.
